The Boulevard (video recipe)

I have confession to make: campari makes me gag. As a result, I can’t enjoy the Boulevardier, a classic bourbon cocktail and cousin of the Negroni (gin, campari, and sweet vermouth). Thankfully, I’ve found a very similar drink that I absolutely love.

The Boulevard
2 oz bourbon or rye
3/4 oz sweet red vermouth
1/2 oz Cointreau (bonus points for Cointreau Noir)
2-3 dashes of orange bitters (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a chilled rocks glass (ice optional) and stir.
Garnish with orange peel if desired.
